The short story collection TALES FROM THE FERMI RESOLUTION Kickstarter is now live!
This collection spans over nine hundred years of future history, from the fall of the civilization of the Old Americans to the last days of the cruel Universal Dominion. It features a combination of short stories from my Patreon (found in the short story sampler from the FROZEN DREAMS Kickstarter) and original stories written for this collection - including an original novelette featuring Shamus Tom Vargas from FROZEN DREAMS! The TALES FROM THE FERMI RESOLUTION, Volume 1: SHADOW OF THE TOWER Kickstarter begins in three days (10/20/20). It's a collection of short stories set in the same world as FROZEN DREAMS: you'll recognize some of them from the short story sampler from this Kickstarter, but there's also going to be a standalone story from the next novel, and an original Shamus Tom Vargas novelette! Sort of a prequel to FROZEN DREAMS itself. There's cover art and everything, so click at the link above to sign up for launch notifications!
Also: I am looking for beta readers for REVISIONARY, which is a four story, 32K word horror chapbook (in much the same style as ANAGNORISIS). If you are interested, contact me and I can hook you up. I'd like to get this out the door by the end of the year. You can also sign up for my mailing list, if you'd rather get updates that way.

TALES FROM THE FERMI RESOLUTION, Volume 1: THE SHADOW OF THE TOWER is an epic - EPIC! - anthology of short stories set in the same world as FROZEN DREAMS, only spanning a millennium of war and struggle. It's a combination of stories first published on my Patreon and all-new tales - and this very much includes a new Tom Vargas novelette ("The Case of the Vanishing Visitor"). Plus, there's also a self-contained excerpt from the next novel*, which will be probably available next year.

*The next novel will not be a Tom Vargas story, but I will be writing a sequel to FROZEN DREAMS this fall. We're not done with Cin City just yet.

Weekly updates seemed a bit much when there were no weekly things to update. The book is out; the RPG worldbook is in playtest; the audiobook is available via Dropbox (the Audible version is stuck in QA because everybody else did an audiobook this year, apparently), and I'm working on the sonnet for the one person who ordered one AND got back to me. In related news: five people haven't surveyed up yet. I also got a book back from the USPS: if it's yours (or if you haven't gotten yours), let me know. All in all, I understand that things are going fairly well; so that's all right, then.
Now to future stuff! Here is the link to my mailing list. I will be using it to notify people about future commercial projects. For example: if everything works out this week, on September 1st I will be releasing a four short-story horror collection called ANAGNORISIS: FOUR TALES OF TRANSFORMATION. I'll be notifying people of that via the mailing list*. Also: the next Kickstarter is tentatively penciled in for November 1st. That one is TALES FROM THE FERMI RESOLUTION, and it is a collection of short stories spanning a thousand years' worth of future history. It will also have a Tom Vargas short story/novella, specifically written for this collection! Further details, again, via the mailing list.
Finally, at some time in 1Q 2021 I will be doing another Kickstarter for my novel MORGAN BAROD, which is set in the first years of the apocalypse hinted at in FROZEN DREAMS. One might be forgiven for thinking that the word 'Conanesque' might apply here, which will rapidly entertain folks who personally know me. Again, I'll be distributing details on that via the mailing list. Hope to see you on it soon!
